Meet the Owners/Presenters

Martin and Kirstan, the owners of Geckoes Wildlife, are keen to share their wildlife experience throughout the community, with the aim of supporting conservation and creating a better understanding between people and wildlife.

Martin Fingland

Co-owner

As someone who’s spent his whole life working in the environmental sphere, Martin is passionate about wildlife, has a wealth of experience, and plenty of exciting stories to share. Martin’s qualifications include an environmental degree, TAFE trainer, and many years working as a park ranger and a wildlife curator. He is your primary contact for conducting workshops and events, and happy to discuss your specialist requirements and the range of animals and resources we can offer.

Kirstan Roberts

Co-owner

Kirstan, as well as being an experienced wildlife presenter with over 15 years in the business, is your friendly first point of call for educational and encounter bookings. Kirstan has also been responsible for hand raising some of our favourite animals, notably Jess the Barking Owl pictured here.
